Granting Secure Developer Access

Securely share API credentials by adding your developer as a sub-user with permissions restricted solely to the Developer section of your AffiniPay account.

You can provide your website developer with access to API credentials without compromising your account's security by limiting their permissions to the Developer section.

How to Add a Developer

  1. Log in to your AffiniPay account, click your name in the top-right corner, and select Settings.

  2. Scroll to the Authorized Users list towards the bottom and click Add Users.

  3. Complete the required user information fields.

    • Under Abilities, select only the Developer checkbox.

    • Optional: If you have test accounts for staging environments, check those boxes to allow the developer to test payments without using real funds.

  4. Click Save Changes.

What Happens Next?

The developer will receive a welcome email to set their password. Once logged in, their access will be restricted strictly to the Developer tools and any specific accounts you authorized.
