Use an Authenticator App for Validation Codes

Secure your account by linking Google Authenticator to your AffiniPay profile for quick and reliable multi-factor validation codes.

For enhanced security, you can use a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app like Google Authenticator on your smartphone to generate validation codes.

How to Set Up Google Authenticator

Before starting, ensure the Google Authenticator app is installed on your mobile device.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner of AffiniPay and select My Profile.

  2. Under the "Verify With a Multi-Factor Authenticator" section, click Get Started.

  3. A QR code will appear on your screen; scan it using the Google Authenticator app on your phone.

  4. Enter the 6-digit code displayed in your app into the Authentication Code field in AffiniPay.

  5. Once verified, your account is successfully linked.

Managing Your Authenticator

  • Usage: Moving forward, AffiniPay will prompt you for a code every 30 days or whenever a new browser session is detected. Simply open your app and enter the current code.

  • Removal: If you need to disable this feature, return to My Profile and click Remove Authenticator. This will revert your security settings to their previous state (Email or SMS).
