In AffiniPay, you can establish a recurring payment schedule using a client's previous transaction details. This allows you to automate future billing without needing to re-collect sensitive card information.
Setup Steps
Click on Transactions in the left-hand navigation menu.
Locate a transaction from within the past six months that you wish to use as the template.
Click the Create Schedule button located on the right side of the transaction details.
⚠️ Important: Billing Calculations
The initial transaction used to create the schedule is not factored into the recurring billing profile.
Example: If you schedule a client to be billed $500/month until a total of $2,000 is reached, and the transaction you used to create the schedule was also for $500, the card will ultimately be billed $2,500 total.
