How to Change Your Payment Page URL

Learn how to customize the URL path for your AffiniPay payment pages to create shorter, branded links for your clients.

Updated over a week ago

You can customize the web address (URL) of any payment page in your account to make it more recognizable and professional for your clients.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Select the Charge tab from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Locate the payment page you wish to update and click the Actions button, then select Edit.

  3. On the General settings tab, look for the field labeled Path. This is the text that appears at the very end of your payment page URL.

  4. Type your new desired path and save your settings.

Important Considerations

  • Unique Identifiers: Each "Path" must be unique within your account.

  • Broken Links: Once you change the URL, any old links you have previously shared (in emails, on your website, or in PDF invoices) will stop working.

  • Update Your Assets: Immediately update your website buttons or email signatures with the new link to ensure clients can still reach your payment page.

โš ๏ธCAUTION

Changing a URL is a permanent redirect of traffic. Double-check that your new "Path" is spelled correctly before saving, as this will be the link your clients see in their browser address bar.
