What is reCAPTCHA?

reCAPTCHA is an optional security widget you can enable at the bottom of your client-facing online payment forms in LawPay Link. To prevent automated interference, clients must check the box next to "I'm not a robot" before the Process Payment button becomes active.

How It Works

While some security tools require users to decipher distorted text or identify objects in a grid of photos, our version is designed to be tough on bots but simple for your clients.

  • Human vs. Machine: Computers struggle to read certain types of distorted text that humans can identify easily.

  • Behavioral Analysis: The way a human moves a mouse to select a checkbox is fundamentally different from how a script or automated program performs the same action.

  • Security Algorithms: reCAPTCHA uses advanced pattern movements and user engagement algorithms to verify identity, ensuring your payment pages remain protected from automated software.

Why Use It?

Enabling this feature adds a critical layer of defense to your payment ecosystem, filtering out malicious traffic and ensuring that only legitimate clients are interacting with your firm's billing portal.
